My mom and dad, Su-Su and Big Daddy to Emmy, came to visit today. They are letting us hold Emmy a little longer each visit, so they both came in to hold her for a bit. Very proud grandparents, as you can imagine.
Emmy is 3 lbs 3 oz today and 16 1/4 inches long. She's growing like a weed! We hope and pray she can come out of her isolette later this week and we'll be one step away from bringing her home! Tomorrow I can try nursing her for the first time, which I'm very excited (and relieved) to be able to do.
We can't wait for everyone to meet her! We'll leave you with a photo of Emmy contemplating life yesterday.
I LOVE the contemplative pic of Emmy - she is SO beautiful, and I cannot wait to meet her in person! While I am really excited about what it means for when Emmy gets to go home from the hospital, I am most excited about coming to Augusta to visit!!! :)
ReplyDeleteHow cute are your mom and dad holding Emmy! I will definitely plan a trip down after Emmy comes home. Make sure you and Charles continue to take car of yourselves as well as Emmy. We love you guys!
