Happy Easter!

We'll be observing the liturgical calendar this year with our holiday greetings seeing as how it's the first Monday after Easter. :)  Hope that all our loved ones had a wonderful Easter weekend!

There is much more to report on from the last week. I have over 500 photos to weed through and edit down from our week in review with SuSu and Big Daddy. It was great having them here and they are now safely back at their house in SC.

Here are a few photos from our Easter celebrating. Enjoy!

So excited to see the Easter Bunny!

She asked to sit on his lap as we walked away. Alas.
P.S. I want that tree in the background for her room! It's a coat/hat rack.
So cool!
Dying eggs.

She did a very nice job putting the eggs back in the carton.
She decided to put the snack for the EB in her basket. Very clever, I thought.
I found it!

Mom snapped a good photo of the church.
Easter dinner!
Sunday afternoon egg hunt and picnic at a park near our house with her pals Sophie, Clayton, and Evan.
Alas, we did not pause to make the four of them pose together.

Post dinner swinging. Gotta work off the yummy food and cupcakes.

Love it: kids pushing the dads on the merry go round. Is this child labor?

  2. Oh believe me, we missed being back "home" in GA with y'all on Sunday! The church does look like a castle from the outside! Unfortunately inside the front behind the chancel had some bad 70's look wood stuff put up so it isn't quite as pretty as I thought it might be. The stained glass is lovely, though. They are about to start a capital campaign to build a new family life center. Then, a sanctuary renovation will be later on, so maybe they will bring it back to it's former glory. :)
